Jigokudani Monkey Park (地獄谷野猿公苑, Jigokudani Yaen Kōen)

Jigokudani Monkey Park is located in Yamanouchi, Nagano Prefecture, Japan. It is part of the Joshinetsu Kogen National Park, and is located in the valley of the Yokoyu-River, in the northern part of the prefecture. Wikipedia

My Comment
Very nice place. But need to walk a lot. It is also recommend to have boot or tools that prevent slippery.

Very good weather although snowy

Food there
There were some choices, but most were not availabe on the new year holiday. This one is just ok.

  • Bring hat and may also sunglasses. Sometime, it can be snowy and windy.
